All sophomore, junior, and senior band students have the opportunity to audition for the All-District band of the Northeast Oklahoma Band Directors Association this semester! The All-District Clinic, held in January, gives high school students the chance to perform with one of three bands (Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band) with students from around this part of the state under the direction of fantastic guest conductors. All 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students are HIGHLY encouraged to audition for these groups.
When and where?
Auditions will be held on November 7, 2015 at Broken Arrow High School.
How much does it cost?
High School audition entry fees will be $10 per instrument the student auditions on. More information will be distributed soon about audition requirements and entry forms.
Additional Information
Select students that are accepted into the All-District honor bands will be able to move on to 2nd round auditions for the OMEA All-State Band, which will have auditions in early December. That information will be available after 1st round auditions have concluded.
